Our Chocolates
Renowned for its proven talents in the world of pâtisseries and bakeries, our Maison also harbours an insatiable passion for Chocolate. Captivatingly smooth and creamy, it inspires our artisans who take great pleasure in elevating it to new levels.
For example, they’ve revisited an emblematic recipe from our region - the Kougelhopf - in a sugar-coated praline: the Praline Mini-Kougelhopf. Then, there’s the Stork Eggs, which translate another symbol from Alsace's heritage into delicious hazelnut praline eggs. A beautiful example of mastered technique and well-honed skills, which you can accompany with the matching Chocolate Stork during the traditional Easter celebrations.
Our Sweets
In the world of confectionery, Nougat is a well-loved classic. However, you might be wondering how our House has lent its expert touch to this speciality, to create a unique recipe? At the crossroads of Europe, Alsace draws on influences from Switzerland, Germany and the south of France. Through this abundance of inspiration, the region has developed its own take on this great classic of French confectionery in a version enriched with honey and nuts (almond, hazelnut and pistachio): Soft Honey Nougat.
Another speciality to discover from our confectionery range: our Fruit Mini-Kougelhopfs. A never-ending source of inspiration for our pastry chefs, the Kougelhopf is now available in a "mini" version. Tossed in a fine layer of sugar and flavoured with subtle notes of ginger and lime, these little treats are sure to satiate any sweet tooth!

Here in Alsace, our sweet tooth has been established through age-old traditions: Bredele, Gingerbreads and Chocolates & Confectionery. For centuries, the region has cultivated a veritable art of confectionery, with recipes and techniques carefully handed down through the generations. Tart sweets, fruit jellies, fine chocolates and honey treats… In the past, these sweets were served at big celebrations, winter gatherings or family reunions. They were shared with tenderness, like little treasures, made to be savoured slowly.
Backed by this heritage, the Maison Alsacienne de Biscuiterie now finds its inspiration to create a collection of artisanal confectionery, designed with the same standards for excellence as its Biscuits.
When and how to best enjoy our Confectionery
Our chocolates and confectionery can be enjoyed at any time of day! After a meal for a sweet finish, for example, or with a cup of coffee or tea as an indulgent little extra.
More traditionally, our confectionery can also be used as favours at weddings, christenings or parties (thank you, sugared almonds, for setting the trend!).
