To mark our 30th anniversary, we wanted to do something a bit more special than just a party, we wanted to create a visual collection that reflects the heritage and regional pride that we’ve been defending from the very start.
Our Maison has always been passionate about showcasing and sharing Alsace heritage and fly the flag for our region’s wealth of traditions and expertise. For this special occasion, it seemed a natural choice for us to bring these values to life through a collaboration that remains faithful to our deep Alsace roots, which is what led us to reach out to Pauline Formosa, an Alsace illustrator whose artistic world was the perfect option for our collectors’ gift tins…
Pauline Formosa a.k.a. Nana
Pauline Formosa is the talented person behind the pseudonym Nana, an artist from Strasbourg who draws her inspiration from Alsace.
Her world immerses you in the Alsace polychrome, a tradition dating back several centuries, characterised by bright colours combined with floral and geometric designs. You can still find today on the timbered façades of buildings around the region, as well as on painted furniture and traditional costumes.
A visual world full of positive vibes and a profound sense of identity, which Nana has shaped through organic forms, generous textures and imaginary flowers, all guided by a driving belief: beautiful things deserve to live on.
Compositions that create a dialogue with tradition without seeing it as a restriction, and which invite everyone, in her own words, “to get lost in them… or to find themselves”.

Two crafts, one passion
This collaboration came together so naturally thanks to the fact that it was founded on much more than just a shared love of a colourful aesthetic.
Precise techniques
What brought us together, even before exchanging words, was a shared set of high standards. The high standards of a precise technique, carefully honed. In the world that Pauline has created, each line stands testament to a craft mastered over time. From her floral compositions and meticulously developed designed to carefully selected colour palettes… nothing is left to chance. Behind each illustration hides painstaking, patient work, a skilful hand that reworks every last detail until the final result is just right.
It’s this attention to detail that you’ll also find at the heart of our Maison, guiding our craft for 30 years, poured into each hand-shaped bredele and each recipe to offer you a unique and exceptional flavour experience. Beautiful results take time, and that’s exactly why this shared patience made this collaboration much more than just a business encounter, it made it a natural partnership.

Alsace
At the heart of this collaboration, there’s also a deep, shared passion for Alsace, the love for the region has been woven into each of our creations over the years. Our Maison has been embodying it for 30 years, transforming each biscuit and each visit into a journey through our region and its traditions.
As for Pauline, her love language is translated through each illustration, which interprets the visual heritage of our region with love and high standards. It’s this mutual sincerity which gives our collaboration its strength and, above all, its sense and purpose.
Alsace-inspired designs
For our springtime collection, we didn’t leave anything down to chance. Each design created by Pauline aligned with a consistent narrative.
The House, aptly known as a maison in French, a symbol for the home, a safe and warm space where traditions are born and perpetuated. The Kelsch, an emblematic Alsace fabric, which has been reinterpreted in Pauline’s artistic style without losing its familiar feel. The Heart is a representation of what brings us together, a shared passion for Alsace and a mission to share our region and its traditions with the would.
The Kougelhopf Tin was a natural choice that we simply had to include. The ultimate symbol of Alsace generosity, the Kougelhopf is one of our Maison’s bestsellers. The Bretzel, a beloved regional symbol, represents this attachment to the region that we’re so proud of. Lastly, the Flowers are the figurative cherry on the cake (or bredele), lending a special grace to the design and Pauline’s style signature, they adorn this artistic world with a touch of sweet, springtime vibes.
The Bredele Tin, the keeper of Alsace traditions
The Bredele Tin sits at the heart of our Maison’s world, as well as at the heart of homes all around Alsace. One of those items that you’re sure to find in every Alsace home, which gets brought out for Christmas each year, filled with Bredele made with well-honed techniques and plenty of love.
What makes it so unique is what we do with it after the festive season. We keep it. We store it away, we get it out again, we reuse it… and sometimes, we pass it on to the next generation. Just like a recipe or technique that has been learned and passed down from generation to generation, it withstands the tests of time and carries with it countless memories and nostalgic flavours.
For our Maison, this aspect of the bredele tin really strikes a chord. For 30 years, we’ve been sharing much more than just biscuits with our visitors… We’ve been offering them a little piece of Alsace, its traditions, its crafts and its values. What Pauline has managed to encapsulate in this anniversary design is very special: it’s a way of reminding us that things that have been made with love and sincerity deserve to be kept and cherished over time.
Just like our Maison, this collaboration is first and foremost a matter of sharing. Sharing what Jean-Marc Muller started, and what Raphaël Kiesele is now continuing with the same passion.
