The beignet — not to be confused with a bugne or angel wing doughnut — is an unmissable speciality that appears each year for Mardi Gras. Symbolising one last indulgence before the restrictions of Lent, the beignet is a tradition that our Maison honours year after year, with high standards and a generous approach.
A velvety smooth chocolate and hazelnut centre
Our Chocolate & Hazelnut Filled Beignet consists of an expertly prepared brioche dough, delicately enhanced with vanilla to add a subtle, aromatic sweetness. Hand-shaped and then deep-friend, the dough expands to reveal a beautifully fluffy interior and a golden exterior.
Once cooled, each beignet is filled with a creamy, indulgent and velvety smooth chocolate & hazelnut spread that adds rich cocoa notes and well-rounded hazelnut aromas. To finish, the beignet is dusted with sugar, creating a delicate contrast between the crunch of the sugar and the melt-in-the-mouth filling.

Along with the Raspberry Beignet, the Apple & Damson Plum Beignet and the Classic Beignet, it can be found and enjoyed in one of our 13 stores in the Alsace and Lorraine regions, where our teams will be delighted to welcome you and give you the chance to taste this exquisite speciality.
Savour this beignet warmed up, alongside a full-bodied coffee or a hot chocolate for the perfect indulgent and comforting pairing. The contrast between the fluffy texture, the velvety smooth filling and the crunch of the sugar makes each bite an instant of pure pleasure.

All our products are made in a bakery which uses wheat flour (gluten), milk (lactose), eggs, nuts (almond, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut), sesame, soya derivative, peanuts and ingredients which may contain traces of sulphites.
