All lovers of our Lillikoug®, authentic Kougelhopfs soaked in a delicate, alcoholic syrup infused with premium brandies, will rediscover through these Lillikoug® infused with Williams Pear the opulently flavoured taste of this fruit, boasting a delicate and sweet flesh, as well as their favourite flavours of the authentic Alsace Kougelhopf.
When biscuiterie meets distilling: the meeting of two of the Alsace region's great arts
Just like our Lillikoug® infused with Damson Plum Brady, Alsace Kirsch or Marc de Gewurztraminer, our Lillikoug® infused with Williams Pear invites lovers of the finer things in life to experience the fruits of two icons of our regional identity: our arts of pâtisserie and biscuiterie, and the art of distilling.
From vineyards to orchards, Alsace makes the most of its abundant nature, with landscapes delighting both connoisseurs and anyone able to appreciate its generous beauty. This abundance of fruits harvested at their peak ripeness leads to an optimal distilling process: the art of the distiller. The task then stands to reveal the essence of the fruit at the heart of the still, which we here at the Maison Alsacienne de Biscuiterie readily accept, putting all the magic of our biscuiterie talents to create our Lillikoug®. A marriage ready to be consummated in flavoursome style…

The spirit of Alsace desserts
Before the 17th Century, this relaxed moment was referred to as "Entre la poire et le fromage", literally meaning "Between the pear and the cheese", conjuring up images of feeling wonderfully satiated after a copious meal with dessert - most often a pear - just before the final indulgence of the meal with a cheese course. Perhaps, one day, we'll say, "Between the cheese and the Lillikoug® infused with Williams Pear"? We may well be starting a new foodie trend…

Our serving tips
To enjoy this creation by our Maison whilst upholding the finesse of the art, whilst also delighting your guests, follow our recipe for our Lillikoug ice cream sandwich, or try our suggested serving, offering it alongside pan-friend damson plums.
Before enjoying our Lillikoug®, leave it to rest at room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
Syrup (sugar, water, Williams pear brandy 11.7%), flour (GLUTEN), EGG, sugar, butter (MILK), MILK, salt, ALMOND, baking powder: disodium diphosphate - sodium hydrogen carbonate, cornflour.
All our products are made in a bakery which uses wheat flour (gluten), milk (lactose), eggs, nuts (almond, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut), sesame, soya derivative, peanuts and ingredients which may contain traces of sulphites.
