The iconic flower adorning the balconies and other timbered architecture of Alsace, this creation offers an original take on the wonderful geranium. With its sumptuously rich almond-based dough, its flower shape and unique geranium flavouring, this Bredele invites you along on an adventure to the heart of our beautiful region.
A unique fragrance
The Geranium Délice is the result of a daring move: combing the sweet tones of almond with the singular fragrances of geranium. A divine pairing thanks to the perfectly-balanced dosage of geranium essential oil carefully adjusted by our pâtissiers.
Ode to springtime
In early May, when overnight frost is no longer a concern and the temperatures begin to creep up, it's time to bring the geraniums out from their winter storage. They also mark the special return of the sweeter lifestyle that tends to come with this season. To celebrate the sunny days and joyful moments ahead, our Maison has created this delicious little biscuit: An indulgent way to welcome the summer season.
The geranium notes are sublimely enhanced when served alongside an iced peppermint tea. Or, for a more unique combination, try it with a Caffè Macchiato.
ALMOND 37.9%, sugar, apricot topping (glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, apricot purée 4%), inverted sugar syrup, EGG, candied lemon peel paste (lemon peel 51.5%, glucose syrup), candied orange peel paste (orange peel 53.4%, glucose syrup, sugar), starch, geranium essential oil 0.03%, antioxidant: rosemary extract, colouring ingredients: acerola juice concentrate - beetroot juice concentrate - lemon juice concentrate.
All our products are made in a bakery which uses wheat flour (gluten), milk (lactose), eggs, nuts (almond, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut), sesame, soya derivative, peanuts and ingredients which may contain traces of sulphites.
