    Our perfectly-balanced spice blend creates layers of deep flavours for our gingerbreads: cinnamon, nutmeg and green aniseed are used to flavour this tender cake, and will enchant your tastebuds. The pique of the spices in this cake combine harmoniously with the fruity and sweet tones of the honey: A rich taste experience that won't miss the mark

    Honey: At the heart of our gingerbreads

    Did you know that gingerbread is also known as "pain de miel", literally meaning "honey bread"? It makes sense, especially with our recipe which is composed of 70% honey. This impressive dose of honey is a great measure of taste quality! The sweet and precious nectar used for our gingerbread is harvest from hives in the Morvan region, which is renowned for its prestigious-quality honeys. We work with bee-keepers upholding traditional bee-keeping techniques, creating an authentic and high-quality product.

    Our "old-school" expertise

    Gingerbread is a treasure forged by ancient expertise. We leave the mixture to rest for a long time, so that it can grow in volume: An essential step in creating a sumptuously soft texture. It's then transferred into the moulds which form our small cakes, before going into the oven for low and slow cooking, preserving its sublime aromas and flavours

    Our serving tips

    Gingerbread can be enjoyed in countless ways. Simply: Cut into slices served as dessert or alongside a cup of tea or coffee. Or, in more unusual ways: Served alongside a savoury dish, it's simply exceptional slightly toasted and topped with foie gras or cheese for a decadent take on this renowned delicacy.

    Honey 70%, wheat flour (GLUTEN), MILK, salt, baking powder: sodium hydrogen carbonate, spices (cinnamon-nutmeg 0.03%), essential oils.

    All our products are made in a bakery which also works with wheat flour (gluten), milk (lactose), eggs, nuts (almond, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut), sesame, soya derivatives, peanuts and ingredients which may contain traces of sulphites.
