All creation begins with inspiration, and when it comes to authenticity, nature remains our most faithful muse. A silent force with thousands of colours and infinite shapes, mother nature whispers sweet ideas that only our pâtissiers know how to translate into delicious treats.

This summer, we've chosen to pay tribute to one of nature’s simplest and most loved symbols: the daisy. We’ve taken a flower that instantly brings back childhood memories, carrying so many emotions, and we’ve reinvented it as a fine and delicate biscuit…

The “Marguerite” (Daisy) Butter Biscuit: a simply delectable flower

From this floral inspiration, the “Marguerite” (Daisy) Butter Biscuit was created: a duo of all-butter biscuits, shaped like flowers, with petals arranged around a generous heart. Atop their centres? A preserve with tart raspberry and a melt-in-the-mouth apricot purée to deliver a fruity explosion that can only be described as the taste of pure sunshine.

Made from an all-butter biscuit dough, into which we’ve incorporated a subtle hint of vanilla, these two biscuits are slowly baked to perfection, giving them a gorgeous golden hue and a crunchy texture.

As you take a bite, you’ll be met with the sweetness of the butter biscuit, in a simple and natural harmony with the fruity centre.

"They love me…”

…They love me not? Impossible. Even though our “Marguerite” Daisy Butter Biscuit has exactly 10 petals —an unfortunate number for lovers of improvised declarations— its magic charm still works. Anyway, whilst you can’t read your love life’s future in it, you’ll at least find a sweet, poetic lesson it: simplicity can be profound and a game for children can conceal a treat that will be very much appreciated by grown-ups.

A floral break, a perfect match. In the shade of a leafy tree or whilst soaking up the afternoon sun, the “Marguerite” (Daisy) Butter Biscuit pairs perfectly with a homemade lemonade or iced apricot juice.

Wheat flour (GLUTEN), butter (MILK) 19.3%, raspberry jam 13.9% (sugar, raspberry 45%, glucose syrup, gelling agent: pectin), sugar, apricot purée 5.7% (apricot 86%, inverted sugar syrup), water, EGG, passion fruit purée, thickener: pectin, salt, vanilla powder 0.1%, acidity regulator: citric acid, antioxidant: rosemary extract.

All our products are made in a bakery which uses wheat flour (gluten), milk (lactose), eggs, nuts (almond, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut), sesame, soya derivative, peanuts and ingredients which may contain traces of sulphites.
